1966- Ford Mustang

Neil Doss, Williamsburg, Ohio

July 2003, right off the trailer

As shown, our first project was MAJOR!  This '66 2+2 had better days.

Although a lot of aftermarket parts were used, we had to fabricate many of the components ourselves.

The "Gone in 60 Seconds" type ground effects were used and were actually molded into the body, as were all factory seams.

The power plant that we decided on was a .60 over 351W that was built to make this machine as fast as it looks.

Traditional Mustang stripes seemed boring so we added some of our own design concepts.

Thanks to Neil and a few other early customers, with this car Woody's Hot Rodz was born. Thanks Neil!!!!!!

The theme was simple, take great factory lines and design elements and make them better without disturbing the original look of a timeless classic.  Pull in the bumper, make the lines and seams go away, stay with original type stripes, clean up the engine bay.....  This theme has become our underlying design theme on all Woody's Hot Rodz projects.

Over the winter of '06 some updates were made to the first WHR project car, the results were great!
