Transmission Side Mount Conversion Kit makes mounting the TH-350, TH-400 and 700-R4 transmissions a breeze. (This kit will also fit late model Chevrolet overdrive transmissions with minor modifications.) Kit is built with components that far exceed the strength that is required of them and are rubber cushioned to absorb shock and vibration. Easy to install, simply bolt it to the frame. #870 will work for any 1955-1957 Chevy model. Use with #870A Hardware Kit and #952 Shift Linkage Kit. Must use with front factory motor mounts. Not recommended for high performance applications.
