Lower Spark Plug Wire Support Shields mount to the engine block behind the exhaust manifolds to protect the spark plug wires from damaging engine heat. The wires run through the rubber grommets and are safely hidden behind the sheet metal shield. This shield is designed for use with the ignition wire support brackets, #1159 and #1160. #1446 will work for all 1957 Chevy & 1956 Dual 4-bbl Cars. It will also fit 1955-1956 passenger cars as a good replacement. Sold as a pair.
