This handy little item absorbs resonance that would otherwise be transferred back into the car from your drum brakes. Replace this spring when rebuilding the brakes. # 1503 will work on any 1955-1957 classic Chevy as well as 1953-1964 Corvette. For use with original type drums with the machined groove only. Will not work with aftermarket replacement drums.
