When you restored your classic you upgraded with an American Autowire Classic Update wiring harness to take advantage of the later style ATO fuses and increased capacity that covered your power windows, air conditioning etc, etc. Good idea but what happens if one of the switches that were supplied with the kit goes bad? # 17798 will work on any 1955-1956 classic Chevy running an American Autowire Classic Update Series wiring harness. Will not work with stock wiring harnesses.
