Eddie Motorsports 1956 Chevy Hood Brace is CNC machined from a solid chunk of 6061-T6 aluminum. The brace fastens in the same position on the underside of your hood as the stock stamped steel brace. They do, however, require drilling out rivets to remove the stock parts. New stainless steel fasteners and mounting hardware are included. The braces will not clear the radiator hose on cars with the stock six cylinder radiator mounting position. Designed to be used in conjunction with Eddie Hood Brace Supports.
