Ididit 1955 1956 1957 Chevy Retrofit Steering Column (OS)

Add the convenience of a column shift to your classic! This space-saving column has everything you'll need to use your original dash indicator (aftermarket shift indicator sold separately). The shift pattern on the column allows you to use either a 3 or 4-speed automatic transmission (except early Powerglides, as they have a reverse pattern transmission). A solid shift linkage (new or original) is required for installation and will attach to the lower shift arm provided on the column.

Whether you're using the original manual gearbox, an aftermarket power box or converting to an all new rack and pinion, ididit has the column and the installation pieces you need to make this Classic even better.

Ididit steering columns are available in brushed, chrome, paintable, polished and black powdercoat and feature an 8-position tilt feature, self-cancelling turn signals, 4-way flashers and retro style knobs & levers. Includes a 3-7/8" wiring plug and 1" DD lower shaft. Designed for either floor or column shift and automatic or manual transmission.
