Golden Star Hood Brace - 1957 Chevy Big Block (OS)

Stock look hood support cross brace modification for your car when running a big block. The 6-cylinder radiator on a stock 1957 has the inlet on the left side of the radiator. The original hood cross brace does not have a provision for running a center inlet top tank radiator meaning unless you cut the stock upper bar you can't move your V8 radiator to the 6-cylinder position to gain more room. Using this custom cross brace that problem is solved. It has been notched so you can run a 1955-1956 6-cylinder position radiator or your 1957 V8 radiator moved with theDAN-11236 conversion brackets without cutting. Perfect for big block conversions as well as small blocks with long waterpumps or any application where you want to run a 6-cylinder position radiator. And the best part is it looks like GM put it there. GDS-HO13-57BB will work on any 1957 classic Chevy.
